After days of struggling I finally fixed the certificate authority issue regarding TSG. You have no idea how glad am I right now.
Let's do a review:
Request certificate from IIS7 (Use full IP, eg 222.164.73.7. For other purposes, use the FQDN or the exact match IP used for connection as CN!)
Import certificate with certreq -attrib "CertificateTemplate: WebServer" (Do not import from MMC! Attributes for template is NOT set by IIS7)
Complete certificate enrollment in IIS7
Select TS Gateway certificate
Create a TS RAP (Use TS Gateway Managed, configure FULL IP because it will check FOR THE IP IN THE ADDRESS BAR, not the actual computer name. Use Computer Security Groups for INTERNAL NAME RESOLUTION)
Install the trusted root certificate from the CertEnroll share (I will need to put this in my USB if I need to do a VPN from school so that I automatically have trusts to the enterprise root CA). Use a GPO to install to domain.
A public key infrastructure is the most difficult concepts to grasp. I hope to be completely sure of this before I move on to Linux.

I'm looking at a CCIE theory course now, and it's helping a lot in filling in all the blanks left out in CCNP. I'm not going to take CCIE anytime soon, but it will definitely help in my CCNA and CCNP certification.
I never knew reading about networking would be better than gaming. This is the first time I didn't game my ass off during the holidays. I guess I've grown up... HAHA!

The IPSec concept is so cool, especially the part about protection. There's a method of exchanging shared secret keys over public networks securely, known as Diffie-Hellman key exchange, which is a method of asynchronous encryption. Asynchronous encryption uses two keys, public and private keys randomly generated during connection establishment. The public key of a certain router is used to encrypt data in a way that only the corresponding private key can decrypt. Although the public key is a mathematical formula, it's irreversible due to its complex "discrete logarithmic" nature which would result in millions of possible reverse solutions. The process goes like this:
Suppose we have 2 routers A and B attempting a VPN connection. They need to share PSKs over public internet.
1) Router A and B exchanges hashed (MD5/SHA-1) PSKs to authenticate each other.
2) Router B requests a VPN connection to Router A
3) Router A sends its public key to Router B
4) Router B sends its public key to Router A
5) Router A encrypts a shared secret key (DES, 3DES, AES etc) with Router B's public key and sends it over
8) Router B decrypts the assigned PSK with its own private key.
Now that both sides have the shared secret keys, connections for the session will be done through encryption through the shared secret key.

I've been really depressed recently, I don't know why. I didn't get full marks for OOP and worse, I got the same score as a noobshit. The time it took him to finish his labs really tells alot about his score.
It's understanding the concept on one hand, and memorizing commands on the other. It's really frustrating and insulting to have people comparing me with him. I felt okay today when Luqman said "Kelvin is like Jensen", because it's saying "Kelvin is Intelligent". But if you're gonna have people comparing me with that other piece, you might as well call me slow. People who base studies on memory won't last long, and it'll eventually come to the day when it all breaks down.

It seems I've recently been able to come to this "controlled" state far more quicker than I was able to in the past. It used to take me a week or more to get over something. If what just happened happened last month, I would have beaten someone up. But now, I just feel like suppressing all anger and start manipulating people. It feels great to be in control, really.

After that he challenged me to join DJMax world championships because he said that he's good enough that, in the event that he doesn't get into Worldskills, he can get into World Othello Championship. I'm ranked online, DJMax Singapore 2th place for DJMP2, and World 4th in DJMT. What is he ranked online? 1929384th? Don't make me laugh, please :D I'm not going to retaliate, and I'm going to let him live his life of self-deception and delusion and allow him to go on a journey of self-destruction.

Linux is... Well... Nothing much =/ I mean, there's so much analogically similar things between the two OS's because, well, they're both OS's. The main terms and jargon between Windows and Linux are all the same, you'll just have to look around to find the features, and they're usually in the menu you'd expect them to be in anyway. CLI (command-line interface, aka terminal) wise, I'd say it's DOS with better features. Note: BETTER FEATURES, should be happy about that :D

I've been learning alot recently haha. I'm currently taking up ICDN1 for my Cisco CCENT certification which would cost about S$90. I find that in ICDN1 we learn exactly what we learn in NETFUND. I plan to take up ICDN2 right after ICDN1 for Cisco CCNA certification, which is probably gonna be "NETINFRA". Well it's a 12-hour course each, and the paper's gonna be scary.

I've set up my router so that telnet access works from my main system as well as my laptop and handphone (yes, telnet from handphone, and I can configure my router from there, haha!)

I set up a Loopback Adapter and bridged my Realtek RTL8168B. I used NPF_{B2E5EF42-39F5-4AB5-9D8D-AC3FC89C8908} as my cloud interface. I'm now able to ping from my main system, laptop, and handphone :D

This is quite exciting. I've managed to get the virtual router to show up in my physical router device list. Pings work with my router only (192.168.1.1), but fail with other computers and online sites (www.google.com etc). DNS works, it translates www.google.com to 216.239.61.104 but it does not reply pings. This is probably due to lack of protocol configurations. I'll figure it out :D

I'm switching over to Networking Worldskills. I know I can't thrive in mobile robotics. I don't fancy programming with flowcharts, and I don't like to be limited to a $20,000 piece of robot equipment. Reliability and execution of algorithms is a great deal to me. If something can be reproduced once, I want it to be reproducible with the exact same result every single time it's done under same conditions. It seems success in mobile robotics is arbitrarily dependent on luck. Furthermore, I prefer working alone and independently, and I don't want to be limited by sub-par teammates. I hate spoonfeeding others every time something needs to be done. I like to learn through trial and error, and that's something that cannot be done effectively in the presence of others. I won't be able to bring the $20,000 equipment back home. I like being able to be able to experiment anywhere, not only in the lab, and that's something I can't do in Mobile Robotics. Besides, networking is more relevant to the current society now (think of bank mainframes and telecommunications etc). And Finally, to put it bluntly in the face, I don't like Roy.

I got home from camp. I put on my headphones. I felt alive for the first time in 5 days.
I have this urge to get textbooks and read ahead. I got Psychology for my previous CDS, and it's Sociology now.
My life till this point has been meaningless and unhappy. I want this semester to be fruitful.
This is a random post after a really long time I miss my blog haha.
So many things have happened. I went to Mentor Training Camp, Genting, Kuala Lumpur, CEN Is 4 U, Week Zero. I'm proud to be a part of the programme team though I haven't really interacted much with the people. I'm not that proud to be an organiser because the president's a weird fuck. I mean, sometimes he's nice but sometimes he's just such an asshole.
I realized the goal to be popular is to ask stupid questions. Usually people who repeatedly ask stupid and obvious questions I already know in a "confident, smart way" gets alot of attention. On the other hand people like me who likes to find out things myself becomes part of the minority lol. Also what I learnt recently is that you have to be the first to make noise, then you'll be able to continue making noise after that and become popular. It's weird and unwelcoming for a quiet person to suddenly make noise, isn't it?
For a while I felt the CENT president is treating me like a tool. I'm an organiser, not a dog. I'm willing to do a lot of dirty work, because if I am to be served, I must serve. I'm efficient and agreeable, but when I do something different I have a reason. Usually when I'm being lectured or ridiculed, I keep quiet, because I don't find a need to justify myself as long as I feel what I did is right. If shallow people like to perceive my actions as stupidity because they fail to see my intentions then it's their own loss not mine, I'm not going to educate them on the details of my wise actions ;) Recently Kenneth the president and Michelle the advisor have been their anger/emotions on me. But then again I do not really care. They feel great, I feel somewhat great too.
I want to run for the presidency of CENT, because I feel I have a need to bring CENT together. CENT now is some sort of disorganised, run-down crap club. When the semester begins, I'll be a confident, well-groomed, well-mannered, humorous person. I'll get a proper girl, not some online long-distance shit or some random single-month slut. It's been a long time since I really looked in the mirror feeling great about myself smiling subconsciously.
You know it's been such a long time since I heard someone calling me a "nice guy". The last person to tell me that is probably Lynette or maybe Grace. Hearing it from somebody in camp is really a rewarding experience. Though I would have agreed that I'm a nice guy back then, I no longer think I am one. I'm quite packed full of ill intentions somewhat. I backstab, I gossip, I insult, I create conflicts. I no longer am the innocent guy I thought I was.

cos2x = 1 + 2sin²x
This looks so complicated that I didn't bother using it. To my surprise, that's the key to solving that crap:
cos2x = 1 + 2sin²x
(1 - cos2x)/2 = sin²x
Substituting in, we have:

= 1/2 ∫(1 - cos2x)dx
= 1/2 (x + (1/2)sin2x) + c

i just realized something really cool. transformers can be used backwards too. using the 220v to 15v transformer we have, we can connect it upsidedown so it goes 220v to 3226v rofl. yes 3226v not a typo lol. human skin is approx 1megaohms so that'll induce like 3.2milliamperes, sadly :(. but then again 13milliamperes can stop your heart so that's good enough. maybe i can connect the end of the 3226v to another 15v and the output would be uh... 44366v. now we're talking :D

From the specifications, the system is likely targetted towards the office crowd. It features high connectivity and a bright anti-glare LCD, is lightweight, thin and lasts for more than 4 hours on default clocks. As long as gaming and rendering is not involved, this system will be a dream.
